Greece capped a magnificent tournament in Bulgaria by winning the title at the U16 European Championship for Women Division B.

Artemis Spanou scored 19 points and 11 rebounds as the Greeks won over Finland, 56-47.

Greece prevailed over hosts Bulgaria 55-46 and Slovenia clinched a 68-59 victory over Denmark.

An impressive double-double in points and rebounds from Anne Pedersen helped Denmark defeat Israel to take top spot in Group A at the U16 European Championship Division B in Bulgaria.

Pedersen had 15 points and 14 rebounds as the Danes won 51-50 for their third straight success.

Ireland are off to a flying start at the U16 European Championship for Women Division B.

Catriona M. Foley led all scorers with 22 points and as the Irish whipped Switzerland 72-51 for their third victory in as many games at the event.
